Are all publications really free? +
Yes. Every publication is released under CC-BY 4.0. You may download, read, cite, share, translate, and adapt — including commercially — provided you attribute the source. No permissions required.
Where are the underlying datasets? +
Datasets are published alongside the parent publication wherever possible. River water-quality data, household-survey microdata (anonymised), and oral-history transcripts (with consent) are released under CC-BY 4.0 as separate annexures.
Can my institution co-publish with Meer Foundation? +
Yes. We have co-publishing arrangements with universities, research institutions, and CSR teams. Co-published works carry both institutional logos and are released jointly under CC-BY 4.0. Write to publications@meerfoundation.org.
Do you accept external manuscripts? +
We do, provided the manuscript aligns with the Five Pillars Framework and the author accepts CC-BY 4.0. We do not charge a publication fee, but we require a community-review stage for field-based manuscripts.
