Yes. Bolti Nadi conducts regular river walks. Write to meercare@live.com to join the next expedition. No prior experience required — bring sturdy shoes, a water bottle, and curiosity.
Are the river-conservation courses free? +
Yes. All Bolti Nadi awareness modules and courses are free for rural Chhattisgarh communities. Certification is included. PDFs are CC-BY 4.0.
How do I host a Social Heritage Walk? +
Download the heritage walk host guide. Choose a site within 5 km, gather 5-15 participants, and submit your walk report. We feature the best reports on our website.
What policy outcomes has Bolti Nadi triggered? +
Riverbank plantation, check dams, erosion control structures, desilting operations, a sewage treatment plant, and public employment drives under MGNREGA — all triggered by the Sakri River Walk report.
How can my village request a river assessment? +
Write to meercare@live.com with your village name, district, and the river in question. Our field team will schedule a preliminary walk within 60 days.
