What is the best way to reach Meer Foundation? +
For most enquiries, the contact form on this page is the best route — it lets us route your message to the right desk (donations, volunteering, partnerships, press, general). For urgent press enquiries on deadline, call the press desk directly on +91 98261 21177 and mark your subject 'PRESS'. For existing programme partners, your direct programme-lead contact remains the fastest channel.
How long will it take to get a response? +
General contact-form messages: within 2 working days. CSR partnership enquiries: within 3 working days. Volunteer applications: within 5 working days. Internship applications: within 7 days (we review weekly). If you have not heard back within these windows, write to meercare@live.com with the subject 'Follow-up' and your original submission date.
Can I visit the Meer Foundation office in Dhamtari? +
Yes, by appointment. Our office is at House No 103, Housing Board Colony, Hatkeshar, Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh 493773. Visits are scheduled Monday–Friday, 11:00–16:00 IST. Please write to us at least 48 hours in advance so we can ensure the right team members are present. Field visits to programme sites can also be arranged for partners and donors with prior notice.
I am a journalist on deadline — how do I get a fast response? +
Call the press desk directly on +91 98261 21177 and mark your email subject 'PRESS'. We have a media kit (logos, founder bios, high-resolution photos), pre-cleared impact statistics, and founder availability on request. For feature stories, please give us at least 48 hours so we can coordinate community consents for any field photography.
What languages can I write in? +
We accept enquiries in English, Hindi, and Chhattisgarhi. Our team reads and responds in all three. For documents, please send in English or Hindi where possible — Chhattisgarhi-language documents may take longer to process. Field teams in Dhamtari, Kanker, Bastar, and Balod also speak Gondi and Halbi.
