Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use your educational materials? +
Educational and awareness materials published by Meer Foundation — including the First Aid guides, river-conservation primers, and PDF resources — are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). You may copy, redistribute, and adapt them with attribution. Brand assets (logos, the Meer Foundation name) are not CC-licensed.
What happens if I breach these terms? +
We may suspend or terminate your access to the website, withdraw any issued certificate, and — in serious cases — pursue civil or criminal remedies under Indian law. We will generally issue a written warning first, except in cases of fraud or security breaches.
Do these terms apply to offline programmes as well? +
These Terms of Use apply specifically to this website. Field programmes have separate terms — for example, the EduSuTo CCS course has its own enrolment agreement, and CSR partnerships have a Memorandum of Understanding.
Can the terms change? +
Yes. We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. Material changes will be notified on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Which courts have jurisdiction over disputes? +
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh having exclusive jurisdiction. We will, however, always attempt to resolve disputes through dialogue first.
