The Project Gallery is a chronological record of recent Meer Foundation fieldwork. Unlike the Media Gallery (which is a permanent archive of finished photographs and films), this page is a refreshable log — twelve projects from the last twelve months, updated monthly.

Annual heritage walk at the Triveni sangam. Walkers visited 14 historical ghats and the 8th-century Rajiv Lochan temple.
Check dam inauguration · Sakri
District officials inaugurate an erosion-control check dam. The structure was co-designed with three riparian villages.
Why a visual log matters
A visual log is not a portfolio. It is a receipt. These slides explain the principles that govern what gets logged, how it gets tagged, and what stays out.
The gallery shows the most recent twelve projects. Older projects rotate into the permanent Media Gallery archive. The log is a window, not a vault.
Every project carries a real location and date. No composite narratives. No undated 'recent' fields.
The log records what happened — not how impressive it was. Outcome metrics live on the Case Studies page.
Journalists can draw from the log directly. Each entry is dated, located, and tagged for editorial citation.

Because the Project Gallery is a refreshable log, not a permanent archive. Real field photographs are processed, captioned, and licensed (CC-BY 4.0) before they enter the Media Gallery under the Emerging section — that process takes time. The Project Gallery uses themed placeholders so that the log can be refreshed monthly without waiting for the photograph pipeline to catch up. Where a Media Gallery entry exists, the project card links to it.
