Meer Foundation Development Apprenticeship Program (MDAP): a structured, immersive, field-based learning programme designed to produce development practitioners who can design, execute, and evaluate rural development work from day one.
Three durations. One standard: learn by doing, not by observing.
2–3 months, full-time intensive. Designed for students on academic break.
4–6 months, part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time. For final-year students.
9–12 months, full-time immersive. For graduates and early-career professionals.
Each phase builds on the previous — theory informs practice, practice informs reflection.
Don't see your discipline? If your background is relevant to rural development, we encourage you to apply.
We review applications weekly. Expect a response within 14 days.
