Meer Foundation is a non-profit society sustained by the trust of donors and the fees paid by students of our certification programmes. This policy sets out, transparently, when and how refunds are issued, and how cancellations are handled.
1. Donation Refunds
We are grateful for your donation and support. We realise that circumstances can change, or that you might have made an error in the amount of your donation.
- Standard 7-Day Refund: If you notify us within 7 days of the donation being confirmed, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. You do not need to give a reason.
- After 7 Days: Refund requests received after 7 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If the funds have already been allocated or disbursed to a specific programme, a refund may not be possible.
- Recurring Donations: You can cancel a recurring donation at any time. The cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle; donations already debited follow the standard donation refund policy.
2. Programme & Course Fees
Fees for certified programmes (such as EduSuTo courses) have specific refund terms:
- 7-Day Window: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your enrolment date, provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course material.
- Deferrals: After 7 days, fees are non-refundable. However, you may defer your enrolment to a future cohort once at no additional cost.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, please email us at meercare@live.com with the following details:
- Your full name (as it appeared on the payment).
- The transaction ID — found in your donation receipt or course enrolment email.
- The amount paid and the date of payment.
- For programme fees: the course name and cohort you are enrolled in.
- A contact phone number, in case we need to verify your identity.
4. Processing Timeframes
We aim to review and initiate approved refunds within 7 business days of receiving your request. Depending on your payment method and bank, it may take an additional 3–7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
