Why Community Radio?

In Chhattisgarh, nearly 60% of rural households rely on radio as their primary information source. Community radio empowers locals to create and consume content in their own language, ensuring no communication gap in government schemes, health advisories, or disaster alerts.

Radio Meer will operate as a fully independent, community-owned station — managed, produced, and broadcast by the people it serves.
